Stormont School of Singing in Belfast endorses a positive & encouraging teaching ethos based on enjoying music whilst safeguarding against unhealthy vocal use. Our Singing Teachers regularly organise Workshops, Student Recitals & enter students in Vocal Competitions & Singing Exams - with excellent results!

Our Singing Teachers offer lessons specialising in Classical, Musical Theatre & Popular Vocals, alongside singing purely for pleasure! All lessons are one-to-one and individually tailored to the needs and goals of the student. We recommend trying a Consultation Lesson which allows you to meet a Teacher and experience a Lesson. You need only bring yourself!

Lessons are offered in the Stormont area, Ormeau Rd and Newtownards.

Musical Introductions

Aimed at ages 6-7 years.

Introduces children to melody and rhythm in a fun bitesize way - also promotes tuneful singing / accurate piano playing from a young age. Excellent preparation for the LCM Step 1 & 2 Music Theatre Tests and the ABRSM Prep. Test. These Music Lessons include Musical Worksheets, Clapping Games and more. Young students will also be encouraged to take part in Recital and Festival performances - should they like to!

Fees: £11 per weekly 20 minute lesson

Standard Lessons

Suitable for students 7 yrs to Adult.

Includes various genres of singing / piano, suitable for all standards. Taken at the student's pace. Respectively promoting the healthy use of the voice and enjoying piano playing. Can include preparation for Exams and Festivals if desired. These lessons include Musical Worksheets for those younger students who are new to Music Theory.

Also appropriate for Adults interested in preparing for Auditions, building up their performing confidence or simply singing/playing for pleasure!

Fees: £16.50 per weekly 30 minute lesson

Extended Lessons

Suitable for students 7 yrs to Adult.

Ideal for those studying towards Grades 7 and 8 Exams, or those wishing to also pursue Music Theory Exams in tandem with their Singing / Piano studies. Also recommended for students interested in pursuing Diploma studies.

The additional time allows for more detailed exploration of the music in hand, or allows for progression through the Music Theory ABRSM Grades (1-5).

Fees: £24.50 per weekly 45 minute lesson
